About Us
Bendigo Brumbies Incorporated is a club which provides a safe and supportive environment in which members can learn and practice natural horsemanship in the Bendigo region.
The club was formed in 1997 as one of the original Parelli support groups. We have been meeting at Peppercorn Park on a monthly basis for the past 13 years.
Rallies are run on the 3rd weekend of every month. See calendar for exact dates
The focus of our club isn’t on competition, but rather on developing harmony and the relationship between you and your horse. This goal allows people of all ages to participate, even if they are unable to ride a horse due to age or disability.
Members are encouraged to be working within the framework of one of the major horseman teaching systems. Whether that is Silversand, Parelli, Australian Natural Horsemanship or Jonathan Field, students should use Bendigo Brumbies as a place where they can get support and confidence on their own journey.
Our local instructor David Mellor (www.davidmellor.com.au) is an associate instructor for Silversand Horsemanship. Individual and group lessons are available to members to assist them in their journey.
